"So Jae, Everado this is James Crisp. He's...uh...kinda my husband."
"Husband!!" Jaessana exclaimed.
"Thanks for the endorsement babe." James said next to Dromy.
"Dromy what's going on? When did you get married." Everado asked putting a hand on Jaessana's shoulder.
"Why haven't you said anything about dating someone before now?" Jaessana asked.
"Well I wasn't sure what was going to happen with James at first and I didn't want to bring him here until I knew what I wanted to do. I put it off until I saw my doctor yesterday. We talked it over and decided we wanted to make a family together for our baby."
"I know that this is not the best way to make a first impression with either of you but I'm going to take care of Andromeda."
"James has a place nearer to town not far from Kiran's. I'm going to move in tomorrow morning."
"Well, I can't say this was something I expected," Jaessana said standing up, "but if this is something you wanted then I'm happy for you Dromy. Congratulations on your marriage."
Everado walked over to James and offered his hand.
"I'm going to say welcome to the family but know this, I've known Dromy since she was younger than my own girls. I consider her to be my one of my own children. You better remember that and treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
"Got it," James said shaking his hand.
"Are you really married now Dromy?"
"Yeah, I'm really married."
"Why do you need to leave though? Why can't you live here with us."
"I'm going to have a baby so we can't all live together. It will take too much space for all of us to live here, so I'm going to live with James and our baby."
"Have you guys said your goodbyes?"
"Yes mum."
"Alright," Jaessana gave Dromy a quick one-armed hug, "take care Dromy. Know we love you here."
"Time to go babe, the taxi's here," James said
"Coming. Love you too. Bye kiddo," Dromy said brushing a kiss to the top of Owens head.
"Bye Domy," Owen said, Jaessana and the others waved as the taxi pulled away.
"Mum, can we talk."
"My this gives me deja vu. Though it was Dani the last time. What is it Bay?" Jaessana asked putting down her bush.
"Mum can we please talk about me getting a horse now. You said we could talk about it when I'm older and my birthday is in three days. I really want one."
"Whoa, whoa slow down Bay. I talked with your dad. We decided that since you've kept up your grades since starting school we're going to look for one."
"Really!"
"However, we need to know you can take care of it," Jaessana interupted before she got too excited. "A horse is a big responsibility and it's going to be your responsibility.
"We talked to Mrs. Jackson and she's agreed to let you help out with their horses so she can teach you to take care of them. You start tomorrow."
"Eeeee, thank you, mum, thank you," Bailey squealed.
"You're welcome," Jaessana laughed, "go thank your dad, too. He's in the garden, no doubt."
Bailey ran off to go find her dad before sharing the news with Dani.
Random Ramblings
So I'm finally back. Yeah didn't get much playing actually done during March :( but I kept tossing round ideas in the background for what I'm going to do with my story now that I've intro'd Occults into my story. More on that when I start playing again for now it's just an update on my Sim family.
BTW remember my sim lifespan is set to normal which is 90 days so a four day romance like Dromy's is going to be a typical courtship. A sim pregnancy is three days so why not make that the normal length of courtship for me. So expect that typical romances will take 2-3 days or so. Not that you will really be able to tell with my story, I think, maybe....
And here are my Generation 1 spares, Dromy was definitely a cutie, she's going into my Saved sims bin, but Kiran doesn't look that bad either just has those cheekbones I think he shares with Jae.
