Chapter 1.23

"That was a great movie," Danica said.
     "I'm glad you liked it."
     "I did actually," she smiled.

"Did you like it well enough to go out again."
     "Sure," she said.

"Then it's a date," Rohan said pulling her to him for a kiss.
She certainly wasn't expecting anyone to interrupt them.
     "Rohan!"
They jumped apart.  "Mom," he said.
"Shame on you in.  What are you doing in broad daylight?" she chastised him.

Danica smiled as she watched his mother grab him by the ear and pull him away.  He waved back at her and tried to reason with his mother as she dragged him along.
Her smiled died when they turned the corner and went out of sight.  She liked him but something wasn't right.  He wasn't right and her instincts were clamoring at her.  But she did like him so maybe her instincts were wrong.

"Hi Dr. Quinn," Jaessana said when she answered the phone.
"Jaessana," she said warmly. "How have you and your family been?"
Jaessana sighed hearing the tone of motherly affection in her voice.  Having never known her own mother and her relationship with Persephone strained by her dad's death, Jaessana sometimes considered Dr. Quinn a surrogate.  Dr. Quinn still knew more about mersims than Jaessana did.
"I've been okay.  I know you're probably still busy from all the relocation's you've had to set up but I was wondering if you were able to find any other mersims?"
"Hmm," Dr. Quinn hummed over the phone.  "I did find another family actually.  None of their members have ever been to Moonlight Falls though so I don't think they're related to you."
"Oh," Jaessana said for a moment dissapointed by the news when she realized something.  "You said they were a family though.  Like with mer-children and teens?"
     "Yes. Why?"
"I'm having trouble with Bailey.  She's so angry and unruly.  I thought at first it was just the move and not getting a horse but now I'm not so sure.  And I wasn't a mer as a teen so I just don't know if it's normal or not.  I need someone with experience."
"I'll talk to them and see if anyone will come and speak with you."

Chapter 1.22

When Bailey arrived at the bar a familiar color caught her eye.  She felt her lips pull into a smile but it wasn't humor she was feeling.  It was something almost...predatory.
"Hope you haven't been waiting too long," she said as she stopped in front of Rolando.

"Not long at all.  You sure you want to be here though.  It is a bar," he said standing up to greet her.
"It's fine. It doesn't start rocking for another few hours anyway," she said leading the way into the bar.
"Let's dance," she said pulling him toward the radio in the corner.

Bailey smiled as Rolando watched her dance.  She didn't much understand it herself but ever since the move she's felt like there was some kind of second nature, a darker nature, inside her trying to get out.  His eyes on her as she danced soothed some of the clawing she felt rising in her soul.
Rolando called it quits before she was ready to stop dancing but she contented herself with sipping from the drink he got for her.

They sat on the couch and watched all the other sims in the bar talk, dance and generally have a good time.
"Look at those two.  It looks like she's trying to eat the face off him," Rolando pointed to a couple across the room.
"Just admit your jealous," Bailey said tickling him.

"Maybe I am.  Let's show 'em how it's done," Rolando said kissing her.
Bailey smiled to herself as a contented purring filled her ears.

"I didn't know we were practically neighbors," Bailey said as she tripped over her feet on the way up to his house.
"Yep it would be the neighborly thing to do to let you sleep here," he laughed as he caught her before she fell.
"None of the lights are on.  Are you sure we won't wake anyone up," she said coyly and looked up at him through her lashes.
"Not if we're really, really quiet," he whispered in her ear.
Bailey laughed softly as she followed him through the silent house to his room.

"Nice room you have here," she said when the door closed behind them.
"Maybe we should give the bed a try.  See if it lives up to the room," he suggested pulling her into his arms.
Bailey smiled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, "I think we should."
She opened for his kiss and they danced across his room to the bed.

"Sweet.  No one's up yet," Bailey said to herself as she let herself into the house the next morning.
Of course she spoke too soon.
"Where have you been?" Jaessana screamed.
Bailey whirled around as her mother stomped up to the door her finger waving like a sword ready to stab her.

"I know I told you curfew was at nine.  Nine o'clock last night not nine this morning."
"Chill out Mum," Bailey said rolling her eyes, "I'm home aren't I."
"Oh no," Jaessana said, "I will not tolerate any more of this attitude.  You're grounded.  Go upstairs to your room where you will stay until your father drives you to school.  I will pick you up when classes let out and bring you here.  You're under house arrest until your attitude improves and you address me with respect. Go."
With every word her mother wielded against her, Bailey felt the calm control she had gained from her night out wash away.  By the last order to leave she was positively seething with fury.
"I'm not a child anymore. I'm sixteen years old," she yelled back.
"Go," Jaesanna said again pointing forcefully in the direction of the stairs.
Bailey stomped up each step before slamming the door to her room closed.

Bad girl on the loose.  Lock up your sons, she's on the prowl.  Heehee.  Anyways that's sort of the image I'm trying to create for Bay. Am I getting it right?

Chapter 1.21

     "This place sucks."
Jaessana sighed and looked over at her oldest daughter.
"Bay, we just moved here.  Give it a chance before you decide this place 'sucks'."
Bailey glared at her, "I don't have to give it a chance.  I already know it sucks because I can't have a horse.  I can't believe you would move us here after you promised me I could have one."

"Things happened.  Get over it.  You are a teen now and your father and I made this decision.  Live with it."
"I hate you," she snarled before storming out of the room.
Jaessana shook her head and returned to the salad she was making.

"She's gotten so angry since the move, I truly don't know what to do with her," Jaessana told her husband later that night.
"It's been her dream to have a horse since she was a practically a baby.  Our move and not getting a horse is a hard blow for her to take."
"I know, I just wish she wouldn't get so angry at me.  Like it's my fault she's not getting her way." Jaessana sighed.
"It will take time but I think she'll come around," Everado said hugging Jae.
     "I hope so."
"Have faith," Everado advised.  "How are Dani and Owen doing?"
"They seem fine.  I haven't noticed any side effects in them."
Before their move to Oasis Springs Jaessana and the children had all taken a medication that inhibited their physical 'mer' traits.  Since the Occults were revealed to the mundane sims there was a rise in violence against any occult sim.  To protect their children Jae and Everado had made the decision to move to a new town where their histories were unkown.
"When do you check in with Dr. Quinn?"
"In a couple days.  She's supposed to resettle with her family this week."
"Okay.  Enough of worrying for the children tonight, let's go to bed."

"How is your new school going?  Have you gotten used to the classes?"  Jaessana asked her children at breakfast.
"What do you care," Bailey asked.
"I want to know how you all are handling the move Bay." Jaessana said.
"Oh, just splendidly," Bailey said sarcastically cheerful, "why I don't think we could have done as well at our old school at all."
When she finished she dropped her smile and picked up her plate, taking it into the kitchen.
Jaessana sighed and dropped her head onto her fisted hands.
"It's going quite well Mum," Danica said, "don't let Bay bother you to much."
"I'm glad to hear school is okay," Jaessana smiled at her daughter.  "How about you Owen."
"School's okay.  I have a friend in class and she invited me to go to the park with her and some of her cousin's after school.  Can I go, Mum?"
"I don't know.  Will she have her mum or dad go with you?"
Owen shook his head, "I don't think so.  She didn't say so."
"I can go with them, Mum," Danica volunteered.
"Alright then," Jaessana agreed.  "Listen to your sister Owen."
     "Okay."

"Where did you move from," Amy's cousin Holly asked.
Owen met Amy on his first day at the new school.  She was being teased by one of the older boys in class because she had gotten a perfect score on her math test.  Owen had told the boy that green was a bad color for him.  It took him a moment to understand that Owen was calling him jealous but by then all the other kids were laughing at him.
He caught Owen after class and pushed him to the ground and stole his school books but Amy had offered to share her books with Owen until the teachers could get his books back.  They were friends ever since.
     "Isla Paradiso."
"No way!  That's so cool.  What was it like there?"
Owen shrugged, "Hot, I guess.  We moved just after my birthday though so I don't really know."

Danica's classmate Rohan had joined her on a trip to the park with her little brother and his classmates.  She was happy to have the company so she wouldn't have to be alone while the kids played.
"So Dani," Rohan asked, "will you go out on a date with me?"
"Uhh," Danica said startled, "I guess."
"Great," he smiled and continued to look at her.
Since starting high school guys were looking at her and Bailey, a lot.  Dani wasn't sure if it was because high school boys were just that different from grade school boys or if it was the new school, but already three of her classmates had asked her out and another had asked her to go to prom with him.  Prom wasn't for another two months.
While she wasn't sure if she liked him as more than a friend or not, she didn't want to make things awkward with Rohan by saying no without going on a date first.

Jaessana turned when the front doors opened.
"Where are you going?" she asked Bailey as she walked out.
"Out," Bailey said walking past her mother without a second glance.

"It's a school night, so curfew's at nine," Jae called after her daughter.

So the Drimagard's are back and in Sims 4.  Lag time got really bad in Sims 3 and moving to a new town didn't really help it at all.  I've been playing a different family in Sims 4 and finally decided to add the Drimagard's to the world so here we are.

Update

The Drimagards will be moving.  After the children all have their birthdays they will be moving to the quaint little town of Oasis Springs.

That's right.  The Drimagards are moving to the Sims 4 (Everyone is getting a little makeover on the way).

They will be joining the town of my other family the O'Malley's.
